Land Capability Assessment (LCA)

Land Capability Assessments (LCA's) provide the basis for chosing an appropriate land application system to achieve sustainable and effective on-site domestic wastewater management, to protect public health and the environment.

Local authorities often require LCA’s to determine a sites capability to maintain and/or treat water (including wastewater) on-site. The assessment often requires documentation of the sites soil profile, soil & groundwater characteristics and general site features. For sites requiring on-site effluent disposal SITE Geotechnical can undertake appropriate testing and subsequent water-balance analysis to assist in sizing of an effluent disposal field.
