Macadam pavement

Macadam is a type of road construction.This picture illustrates a typical one found in the Brimbank area during one of our pavement investigations.Some of these macadam pavements are over 50 years old and have had little maintenance requirements over this time. Some need to be fully rebuilt while others like this one could be upgraded with a simple crack preventative treatment and new asphalt overlay. construction maintenance pavementmaintenance
